"The art of travel is to deviate from the current plan."

The gifted Conner Layne (Christopher Masterson) plans to marry his sweetheart, but when the wedding plans fall through, he heads alone to Central and South America, what was originally intended as a honeymoon. There he meets a group of adventurers who plan to bridge the Darien gorge.
