Sea Tiger plot
'Sea Tiger' is the name of an old cargo ship, abandoned by the Japanese at the end of World War II, which is anchored in a remote bay in New Guinea. Owners Jenine Duval and Jim Klavier have hired Ben McGrun as skipper and Joe Edmun as chief mate to help them pick up the ship. However, the 'Sea Tiger' turns out to have a secret safe on board containing a fortune in diamonds and gold bars, which the Japanese had hidden in the ship. The shady insurance man Williams from Sidney and the bar owner Fat Harry are looking for this safe. Klavier is murdered and McGrun is accused. However, McGrun can prove that he is actually a private investigator and the prime suspects are now Fat Harry and Williams.
