"The Thundering Adventure That Brought an Empire to its Knees!"
Mark Antony is defeated by Octavian's fleet. The latter sends gladiator Lucilius to Egypt to convince Antony of the treachery of Queen Cleopatra so that he will stop his further struggle against Rome. Lucilius's efforts fail because of Mark Antony's pride, while Cleopatra seduces him, disguised as a dancer, and wants him killed.
