L'Avventuriero plot
Peyrol is an old pirate who is free again and about to start a new life. Looking for a quiet place to retreat to, he goes to stay in an old castle owned by a young girl and her aunt. Peyrol is increasingly valued by them, especially when he helps the girl overcome a childhood trauma. A young French official then asks him for help on a dangerous assignment. At first he refuses, but when he sees that the officer is in love with the girl, he agrees. But the assignment he gets is harder than he thought.
