"Danger to him was only a Challenge!"
Zabello asks arms smuggler Del Forbes to take his place and collect money from Joseph Lang for a shipment of weapons. Del checks into a hotel in Zabello's name and is visited by Lenore Dixon who tries to kill him, thinking he is Zabello. Del manages to overpower her and agrees not to hand her over to the police if she wants to have dinner with him. Once the deal with Joseph Lang is finalized, Del seeks out his colleague, but Zabello is now dead. Del attempts to return the money to Lang and along with Lenore seeks Lang, but a gang beats them and kills Lang. The gang demands the money that Del has in his possession and he is told that Lenore is part of the gang. At that moment, the Japanese bomb the city and the roof over Del threatens to collapse.
