Greyfriars Bobby plot
1865, Edinburgh Scotland. The old shepherd is ill and the farm where he works is deteriorating, so he looks for other work and has to say goodbye to the dog Bobby, who always kept him company. However, the dog is very attached to him and runs off after him. When the old man dies, Bobby remains at the grave in Greyfriars, and the owner of a diner feeds Bobby and helps him buy in the cemetery, which is off limits to dogs. However, stray dogs are also prohibited, and Bobby does not wear a collar.
