El Perdido plot

June 1994. Marti is a normal, somewhat shy man. One morning he drives away from his Spanish village on his motorcycle. He leaves his motorcycle under an oak tree, along with his wallet and cap and heads for the mountains. He prepares to kill himself with his shotgun but decides not to pull the trigger. He also does not dare to return and spends the night in the open air. This is the beginning of his life as a survivor in the Eastern Pyrenees.
