Dschungelkind plot
Eight-year-old Sabine and her family emigrate to West Papua, where the father works as a linguist. Thanks to her open character it is quickly possible for Sabine to make contact with her contemporaries. However, when the family takes in an injured boy who belongs to an enemy tribe, they find themselves between the two fronts. Years later, when Sabine is sixteen years old, the young woman must decide: does she want to continue living in the jungle or return to a civilization completely foreign to her?
