Das Goldene Ding plot
Das Goldene Ding is set in a time when people were children and they only wanted one thing: the golden thing. 11-year-old Jason, along with Herakles, Castor, Polux, Orpheus and other Greek royal sons, sets out on the ship Argo to search for treasure. The first stop is the island of Dolionen, where they kill the resident after a misunderstanding. After this catastrophe, the Argonauts end up on the island of Lemnos. where only women live. Then they arrive at the Symplegaden, two floating mountains, which lie in front of a passage. With wit and originality they manage to find a way through. Eventually they manage to find the land of Kolchis, where Medea the king's daughter falls in love with Jason.
