This is Filipino director Eddie Romero's third film in his Blood Island exploitation horror film series. After Brides of Blood (1968) and Mad Doctor of Blood Island (1968), this is the sequel to the latter. Lead actor John Ashley as doctor Bill Foster returns to the island together with a new crew including a beautiful journalist Myra. Actually the same concept as in the previous part because the graceful Myra (Celeste Yarnall) also falls in love with doctor Bill and can also be seen naked later in the film. Fortunately, some roles are played by the same cast, such as Ramu (Alfonso Carvajal) and Razak (Bruno Punzalan). Unfortunately, other important characters such as Doctor Lorca and the sensual native woman are played by a different cast who came across less convincingly. The story has a monotonous course of two camps fighting each other, namely Doctor Bill with the residents of the island against Doctor Lorca and his followers. The green monsters have much less part in the film here because it mainly revolves around the battle between the two camps, resulting in a lot of shooting. Therefore a 5/10
