American Flyer plot

A defenseless, oppressed man loses his father attempting to cross the border from Mexico to the United States at the city of Tijuana, and send money home. Now that Bondo must stand on his own two feet, he encounters a series of people who want to antagonize him, including the chief of police in Tijuana, who killed his father. After a deadly attempt to cross the border himself, he assembles a small plane - made from a wheelbarrow - and flies it to the pier of Santa Monica...
