Xia Nü plot
In the fourteenth century, during the Ming dynasty, the young Yang (Hsu Feng) takes up residence in an abandoned fortress. She befriends the young writer Ku's mother. One evening she invites Ku and spends the night with him. In the morning they are startled by a warrior whom they can barely control. Yang explains that she is on the run from the Imperial spies who killed her father. She waits for the right moment to take revenge.
