War of the Worlds: Annihilation plot
A huge group of meteorites is falling from the sky around the world, emitting a strange, poisonous smoke. The army, led by General Skuller, assumes it is an alien attack and is looking for a fight. However, Ashlaya Wellish, a specialist in cyber operations, sees several flaws in his theory. Meanwhile, Ashlaya's husband Jutta is sent on patrol and their son Lucas tries to get the school where he's studying to safety.
