When I'm done with you, you're gonna have to wipe your ass with your nose.

Delicious Italian Terminator rip-off.

In Hands of Steel, Paco, played by Daniel Greene, is a cyborg who suddenly takes on human traits and is on the run from the FBI and the evil "owners" who designed him. Daniel Greene has big muscles and can do it as a 'terminator', although he is rarely really convincing. Because of his strange-looking Steven Seagal moves, he sometimes comes across as a bit bruised. George Eastman is great as Raul Morales, a truck driver/arm wrestler with a huge ego. Eastman brings a lot of life to the film and sprinkles with delicious one-liners.

The soundtrack by Claudio Simonetti is used extensively and that's a good thing. Simonetti delivers a great wrong score that will stay in your head for a long time. In terms of action scenes, the film has something nice to offer, although it never really gets high. It is mainly the music that keeps you in the mood.

Naturally, there are some flaws in the film. For example, a very sentimental love story about Paco and owner Linda is told, which does not come across at all and is way too over the top. Several scenes also reach the pinnacle of foulness. I'm mainly talking about the female cyborg and of course John Saxon who runs after Paco with an oversized laser-gun.

All in all, Hands of Steel is a very entertaining film that should of course be taken with a grain of salt.

Italian actor Claudio Cassinelli, who has a fairly large role in the film, died in a helicopter crash during filming.

Fairly attractively made but often clumsy action film with a particularly mediocre role by Greene (Agren is the only one who can act in this film). The setting is cleverly used, although the apocalyptic atmosphere does not really come out. Entertaining because of the clumsiness but a bit too long.

Very cool movie in which acting gun 'Daniel Greene' angrily armwrestled with George Eastman. The pace is good and the film has a cool soundtrack with - just like Greene's emotions - little variation. For the form there is also a titty bar scene in it. Count out your profit. I love italian exploitation.
