Tsunami plot
Deep under the old seabeds of the North Sea, scientists find a large amount of frozen methane hydrate. The energy company Intergas has a revolutionary plan to make this so-called 'burning ice' the most important fossil fuel for the next thousand years. However, during an illegal and top secret exploratory drilling an enormous tidal wave is created, which almost destroys the German Wadden island of Sylt. The phenomenon is a mystery to scientists, because nobody knows that Intergas has carried out an illegal drilling.
