The Lady in the Morgue plot

When one of the corpses in the morgue goes missing, Detective Bill Crane and his partner, Doc Williams, are called in to investigate. The snatched corpse, it turns out, is the body of a girl whose murder is still unsolved. As Doc and Bill try to find the person who stole the body, they uncover clues that could shed light on who killed their victim. Soon the pair realize that whoever took the body is also trying to keep the crime from being solved.
