It's a nice watch but very predictable and I've seen a similar film with crazy hitmen recently, so it's not original either. I thought the ending was a big flop anyway. Maize already heard from Lovedahl that Joe is a hitman. Then he confirms in the car that he performed the hit at the opera. She gets angry because it was "opening night" and then reacts very shocked when he says again that he is a hitman by profession. Then she faints because of a bullet that hit her but once in the church she doesn't have any more trouble.

Just a B-movie as you would expect from Bautista.

Reasonable action film. The story is quite simple but for an evening of mindless entertainment it is good. The build-up is nice as far as you can call it. After that it is all action with now and then a moment of rest and some light humor. The action scenes are quite rough with a lot of fake blood and are well-depicted. Visually fine. The cast does quite well and the film has many familiar faces. 3.0/3.5

Quite a nice action film. With a laundry list of striking hitmen, some of whom are more palatable than others. The action scenes are also not all of the same quality. Some are cool and even avoid the standard clichés, others are a bit clumsy and wooden. Dave Bautista himself is often responsible for the latter. He is no longer the youngest and is already a bit clumsy and not very agile. He plays his role as you would expect, but it is not an in-depth character study of course. It was more fun to see the old Kingsley at work again, that was a while ago for me.

JJ Perry seemed a bit torn about whether or not to go full "Guy Ritchie". Which gives The Killer's Game a rather unbalanced look. But for a simple run, fly, fight and shoot movie, this is fine. Although that "shooting" part was remarkably rare in the first 3 quarters of the movie. So many hitmen, and so few guns. But whatever.
