The Foreign Legion plot
Richard Farquhar is falsely accused of a crime and forced to relinquish his position in the military. Farquhar can prove his innocence, but remains silent to protect Arnaud, the husband of his ex-fiancée Sylvia. Farquhar joins the Foreign Legion in Algeria and serves there under his father, whom he has not seen for a long time. After a while he meets Arnaud and Sylvia again and that leads to problems.
