Studio boss Alfie Alperin (Malcolm McDowell) has the idea to ask two of America's most famous heroes to collaborate on his next film. Actor Tom Mix (Bruce Willis), the absolute hero of the silver screen, will play the legendary Sheriff Wyatt Earp in this film. The real Earp (James Garner) has been hired as a technical advisor. At first, the Hollywood glamor and the Wild West seem to collide, but Mix and Earp will have to work together when they become involved in a murder for which they are blamed...
