Speed Demon plot

Captain Torrance and his daughter Jean build a new motorboat, the Lady Torrance, along with 'Speed' Morrow, a young mechanic who wants to become a racer. With Speed at the wheel, the motorboat thrives on a sea trial, much to the chagrin of criminals Langard and Lefty, who are hired to protect the interests of a major boat manufacturer. They make sure their motorboat driver Pete Stenner wins the race.
