"Don't judge a cop by his cover."
Vincent is a corrupt police officer who, along with his partner, manages to steal a shipment of cocaine from a drug lord. As a result, he kidnaps his son and detains him in a nightclub. The only way to save his son is to bring back the drugs, but he faces deceit and betrayal throughout the evening.

In fact, everything is bad about this action movie that wants to be hip but it certainly isn't. The cast doesn't give a shit and the characters are poorly developed. Some scenes are so bad for laughs, but they are meant to be serious , for example when Vincent walks into that club with a huge bag, which is never possible and is of course very noticeable. The action scenes don't save the movie either.

Great remake from the director of The Silence.
Paris has exchanged for Las Vegas. That's not so strange really. Jamie Foxx is an undercover cop who steals drugs from a gang. He kidnaps his son to get the stuff back. Now Foxx has to lie a lot and invest a lot to get his son back.
Afin, same as Sleepless Night. A movie I gave a 3.0. Maybe it deserves a rewatch because I really didn't think this remake was bad. Convincing acting, a strong tempo, rude humor, many deceptions and a few nice action scenes. Of course with a ditto American ending.
I did have fun with it.

Some very negative reviews. This gave me the idea that this was going to be a bad movie. Now I'm not completely impressed, but the film is still quite entertaining. Sometimes there are some strange plot twists or they don't all think well. But overall this movie is pretty good. Do not expect an intelligent high flyer, but it is not a boring story.
The film also takes place in 'real time'. Everything happens in 1 1/2 hours.
