Scientists make a terrible discovery: a huge earthquake is coming in two days. As a result, California will sink to the ocean. Their only hope is to erupt a volcano that will displace the energy of the earthquake and create a new crust on the Earth's surface. But as pre-shocks turn California into chaos, a race against time begins that the scientists may not win.
