Nice movie, maybe in some ways a bit predictable and cliche. That didn't make the film any less enjoyable for me personally. A family that is moving but due to the confluence of circumstances still stays one night in the parental home and has to suffer the consequences of the tsunami there. Mother and son who are separated from father and daughter, only to be reunited again by heroic action by the father. . Very exciting: will they make it or not? With good acting presentations, and beautiful images of Norwegian nature. Good movie, definitely recommended. Worth 4.5 stars to me.

Fairly lackluster disaster film that treads the beaten track of the genre. Only thing that brought extra were the fantastic Norwegian fjords. The images were breathtaking at times. Otherwise very standard with one scientist who believes in the disaster, but has to take the others - yet equally intelligent - in tow to believe him.

The disaster itself is well portrayed, certainly by Norwegian standards. The typical family should of course not be missing and of course they are reunited at the end. the father is also the main hero of the story who eventually finds them. Finally, the hero also has to be rescued after a few "exciting" minutes.

Interesting plot though that is apparently based on scientific facts that can actually occur.
