Friends Salaar and Vardharaja have been inseparable since childhood and promise never to abandon each other. In the near future, a kingdom in Khansaar flourishes in a very violent world. Beautiful, grand Bollywood spectacle. The Biblical story is somewhat confused and, especially towards the end, technically difficult to follow. In the end it doesn't matter much because it is clear who is good and bad. The first part is the strongest. The build-up is good and the action is nice and raw. The second part feels more like a long trailer. Lots of constructive bombastic music with voice-over-like voices. But it remains fascinating. Overall a great film that is enjoyable to watch and contains a few very strong scenes. Visually, lots of slo-motion, CGI and beautiful mass scenes. Typical Bollywood. 3.5
