I thought it was a strong, entertaining movie. Fonda was strong. Still, check out the original.

For this one: 3.5*.

The action is doable and that's the only thing plus a nice story.

Rest acting and the effect is moderate.

2.5 star

A somewhat slicker remake of La Femme Nikita.

More beautiful in the picture, and Bridget Fonda also looks a lot more attractive than Anne Parillaud - and certainly has had a better dentist. But exactly what bothered me a few weeks ago when revising the original also bothers me with this remake - the ugly soundtrack, with the now twenty years later still very dated 'hip' synthesizer sounds and ugly pop tunes.

Here and there it is funny to discover the 8 differences with the original. But otherwise the remake has little to bring - other than that the images are a bit more beautiful. But, just as m1chel mentions to me, on the other hand, the rawness and power of the story suffers a bit.
