Mohawk plot
Oak, a female warrior of the Mohawk tribe, gets into trouble when one of her tribesmen sets an American camp ablaze. A battalion of soldiers, led by the bloodthirsty Colonel Holt, seeks revenge and targets Oak. She flees into the woods with fellow tribesman Calvin and their English companion, Joshua. The trio will have to use the forest to defeat the soldiers. After all, they know the area like no other.

Cheaply made western film with a somewhat creepier atmosphere towards the end, but Mohawk has little to do with full-blooded horror. Director Ted Geoghegan himself doesn't seem to find it all that interesting either, since the film mainly follows clichéd paths and spends very little time on the more imaginative elements. The acting and the variety of characters are quite nice, but don't make the whole thing much more interesting to get through. In the end, Mohawk leaves the viewer with an empty feeling, which is due to the lack of stimulation and interesting world creation. The lack of impressive effects, by the way, is just as much.
