Doctor Maddy Rierdon (Lucy Lawless) is a researcher at the Department of Agriculture. She is the only one who knows how to save America from a plague of locusts. But not only the crops are infested by these locusts. This grasshopper variant, which has been genetically manipulated, is much more deadly than originally thought.
