Law and Order plot

"He's on the right side, in a battle to the finish...fightin' for Law and Order!"

Billy the Kid and his friends Travis and Fuzzy Jones are arrested and taken to Fort Culver. The three of them are very surprised when it turns out that Lieutenant Ted Morrison, the commander of the fort, looks like Billy. The three learn of an attempted scam to marry Morrison's wealthy but blind aunt to the con man Simms instead of the aunt's lover, George Freemont. The three friends manage to escape and make their way to the rich lady's ranch to inform her. On the way, the stagecoach is ambushed and its occupants, Fremont and Morrison, are murdered. Billy poses as Morrison to still mess up the gang's plans.
