Outspoken Christian American journalist Doug Rawlins travels to Egypt to attend a conference. He is kidnapped by the Iranian regime and wrongly charged. His wife and state official Liz tries to put pressure on the US government, but realizes that it will not interfere. She herself travels to the Middle East where she goes in search of her husband.
