Goo Wak Chai: Yan Joi Gong Woo plot
Nam opens a bar in Wanchai and climbs the ranks of Hong Kong's "Hung Hing" gang. His friend Chicken needs a hiding place after committing a crime and is sent to Taiwan to work for Lui, the leader of the "San Luan" gang. There he falls for the mistress of the aging Lui. When Chicken returns to Hong Kong, he finds Nam back in battle with their old rival, Fai Fat. Then Lui appears; he demands that Hung Hing sell him half of the stake in their new casino in Macau. When Ching, the Hung Hing boss, wants to think about it, Lui threatens war. Chicken has to choose sides, and Ting Yui arranges a meeting. Chicken's advances, Fai and Nam's rivalry, Lui's greed and Ting's intentions, are headed on a collision course.
