The career of a well-known television host has taken a bad turn. He now has to do a report in Montana, in the small town of Hatt's Creek. The subject is the disappearance of a twelve-year-old boy. Together with the police and a couple of hunters, he goes into the woods to find the boy. The locals think he's been grabbed by a grizzly bear, but the truth may be even more horrifying.
