Dong Bei Jing Cha Gu Shi plot
Detective Li Hongqi travels back to his hometown with his girlfriend to celebrate Chinese New Year, but is shocked to discover that his father-in-law is involved in a criminal case. Driven by his sense of justice, he decides to forgo his vacation. Together with the local police, he launches an investigation that brings family ties and duty into conflict.
