Already seen several scenes of it, turned out halfway. Abandoned with the taxis and naked through the streets, a bell started to ring. But that doesn't matter, it was a joy to watch. Despite the lousy parts in between the action, which were below the level of other Chan films.

'Comedy' is marked here, but I still had the strong impression that it took itself very seriously, with the typical Chan moments of course. However, the action made up for a lot. Enough to not get bored for long, and certainly enough to get a good grade.

Good movie with both action and humor. Just a pity that the votes were not equal, still a well deserved 3.5

The Accidental Spy feels like a pretty standard script. The only thing that stands out are Jackie Chan's fights. They are certainly not bad and lift the film up a bit. On the other hand, it is not yet another Bond parody, which you can expect given the title. The movie is pretty good, Chan has done worse. But it's nowhere memorable. This film will not immediately be mentioned if you collect his films in a top 10. Actually fits in the list of the many 'expendables' films from the 80s. But then with the well-known choreographies of Jackie Chan.
