Ballad: Na Mo Naki Koi no Uta plot

Sengoku General Matabee Ijiri (Tsuyoshi Kusanagi) and young princess Renheme (Yui Aragaki) are in love, but the class difference between the two stands in the way of their love. Matabee's nickname "Ijiri" means ghost and he is the feared and respected general of the army of the small state of Kasuga. Renheme's father arranges a marriage between her and Itakatora Ohkura, the ruler of mighty Kitaganto. When the marriage is called off, Itakatora Ohkura sends his armies to Kasuga. It's up to Matabee Ijiri to repel the attack.
