Above the Below plot

The three astronauts Jackson, Brooks, and Rhodes attempt to return to Earth after a space mission, but during re-entry through the atmosphere, their damaged spacecraft goes off course. They survive the emergency landing, but their capsule sinks to the depths of the ocean, and they become completely cut off from the outside world. As their oxygen supply rapidly dwindles, the astronauts must find a way to escape. To survive, they are forced to make an impossible choice: who will attempt to reach the surface and who will stay behind?
