"Johnny Depp" lijkt me voor vandaag wel een mooie, ben toch ook hier wel weer erg benieuwd wat de meesten zullen stemmen. Het blijft toch een van de meest getalenteerde en veelzijdige en uiteraard dappere (qua rolkeuzes) acteurs ooit.

Zijn rollen in Pirates of the Caribbean, Donnie Brasco, Edward Scissorhands en Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas zijn mijn favorieten. De laatste vind ik zonder twijfel zijn beste.

Heb ook nog nooit een slechte rol van de man gezien, hoogstens een wat mindere.

Zijn beste rol is ongetwijfeld als Jack Sparrow in pirates of the carribbean. Deze topprestatie wordt door velen erkend, maar ook door vele kenners opzij geschoven puur om het feit dat de film zo een commerciel succes was, en het ook geen gewichtige drama is, wat meestal toch meer wordt gewaardeerd. Maar ik blijf het een van de beste acteerprestaties vinden die ik ooit heb gezien. Echt Respect voor Depp.

Best een aangenaam acteur, maar ik twijfel aan zijn veelzijdigheid omdat zijn rollen bijna immer uit 'typetjes' bestaan. In WEGG laat Depp zijn dat ie toch wel een karakterrol aan kan, daarom mijn keus. Ik zit eigenlijk nog steeds te wachten op een ultieme karakterrol.

Wat mij betreft From Hell of The Ninth Gate. En dan ga ik maar voor die laatste. Volgens mij een goed acteur als iemand hem eindelijk eens in een echt goeie film wil steken. Als slechte rol draag ik trouwens graag Ed Wood aan.
