Golden Raspberry Awards - Razzies

Respect voor Sandra Bullock, dat ze haar razzie komt ophalen, en ook nog erg grappig was.

With the Academy Awards fast approaching it seems you can't turn anywhere at the moment without being bombarded by an endless stream of awards shortlists, churning out the same familiar faces such as Black Swan, Inception, The King's Speech, The Social Network and True Grit. Well, one shortlist that everyone in Hollywood will be looking to avoid is the nominees for the 31st annual Golden Raspberry Awards, a.k.a. The Razzies, which of course celebrates the very worst in cinematic offerings from the past twelve months.

While the nominees won't be officially announced until January 24th, the shortlist for the 'coveted' Worst Picture award has made its way onto the internet this week, along with details on some of the other categories and contenders...

Although it wasn't fortunate enough to secure a 'Worst Picture' nod, the critical abomination Burlesque pulled in a host of nominations including Worst Actress, with Christina Aguilera batting it out against the Golden Globe-nominated Angelina Jolie (The Tourist) for the gong. Meanwhile Jessica Alba gets FOUR cracks at Worst Supporting Actress (The Killer Inside Me, Little Fockers, Machete, Valentine's Day) with George Lopez one behind in the Worst Supporting Actor category (Marmaduke, The Spy Next Door, Valentine's Day). This year also sees the inauguration of the newly-created 'Worst Eye-Gouging Misuse of 3D' award, featuring the likes of Piranha 3D, The Nutcracker in 3D and Resident Evil: Afterlife.

The 31st Golden Raspberry Awards are scheduled to take place in Hollywood on February 26th, one day before the stars descend on the red carpet for the 83rd Academy Awards.

Wat een onzin dat Burlesque er niet bij staat, zelfde geldt voor Piranha. Gelukkig wel qua 3D effecten en maakt Christina terecht kans op de Razzie. Nu de concurrentie nog wegvagen Chrissy. Je staat iig de favoriet . Burlesque en Piranha 3D behoren tot de vijf beste film dit jaar, dat moet beloond worden .

What's up met de Alba haat? 4x genomineerd lijkt me een beetje overdreven...

Lol, en nog voor The Killer Inside Me ook. Illustreert ineens perfect dat ze daar alleen personen viseren, zonder op hun acteerprestaties te letten. Hoe voorspelbaar ook dat Stallone er weer tussen staat..

Al zijn de Razzies nooit serieus te nemen natuurlijk. Erg sterke films er tussen, Alba die er bi jstaat voor haar beste rol ooit, Aguilera die puur om haar 'image' er bij staat. Maar kan er wel om lachen overigens.

Kun je ook maar beter niet veel waarde aan hechten, dit soort dingen. Doen volgens mij al meer dan genoeg mensen, als je dat lijstje bekijkt. Vreemd.

Ik vind het wel tof, vooral als er films/actrices in staan die ik een warm hart toedraag. Geeft het gewoon heel veel camp value.

Laat The Expendables het maar winnen. Overige titels zijn te kleurloos voor woorden.

Expendables als winnaar zou wel lachen zijn ja.

Tja, met het ontbreken van Burlesque kan ik ook wel een film maken die dan wint. Burlesque of Piranha is de enige van de high profile releases die het echt verdienen.

Sterk veld hoor. Eigenlijk vind ik dat Jason Friedberg en Aaron Seltzer ten aller tijden een Razzie moeten krijgen zodra ze een film durven uitbrengen. Ik heb Vampires Suck nog niet gezien maar ik geloof niet (op basis van o.a. de trailer) dat deze enigszins beter is dan de normale rommel die ze maken. Supporting Actor MOET naar Dev Patel gaan, wat was die slecht zeg.

Geen Burlesque en Aguilera . Zo ondergewaardeerde film, jammer dat de razzies er aan mee doen. En Alba als worst supporting actress slaat al helemaal nergens op. Eén van de sterkste supporting roles van afgelopen jaar.

Hopelijk gaat alles naar The Last Airbender inplaats van naar Twilight

Behoorlijk wat Twilight, hehe. Ben benieuwd hoeveel ze er ook daadwerkelijk binnenslepen. Al mag Jennifer Aniston ook wel eens in de prijzen vallen.

Van dat hele genomineerde rijtje vind ik Aniston nog het beste acteren, rest is helemaal hopeloos.

Miley was best goed .

Ik kan me niet voorstellen dat er iets slechters uitkwam dan The Last Airbender afgelopen jaar (al zag ik zijn concurrenten niet), dus die mag van mij pakken wat ie pakken kan.

Het verhaal over vampier Edward en dorpsmeisje Bella won Razzies in de categorieën Slechtste film, Slechtse actrice en Slechte koppel op het scherm. Ook kreeg de film awards voor Slechtste cast en Slechtste regisseur.

Zal vooral door het gedoe rondom Stewart zijn, want zo slecht was die laatste nou ook weer niet.

Ach, het blijven meestal persoonlijke vetes. Twilight is altijd de sjaak, net als Sandler overigens.

Dit blijft toch wel een rare Award waarbij men niet echt de slechtste film, maar eerder de guilty pleasures wil aanklagen of zo. Al bijna even dubieus als de Academy Awards.

Beide producties gingen met 3 van de twijfelachtige prijzen naar huis bij de uitreiking van de Razzies.

Och, Movie 43 was soms best nog wel heel geinig. After Earth was wel een verschrikking ja.

After Earth komt misschien nog wel een keer maar voorlopig nog niet (moet The Last Airbender zelfs nog zien) maar Movie 43 was echt heel slecht. Maar wie echt in de prijzen had moeten vallen waren Grown Ups 2 en Mortal Instruments.
