The Godfather of Disco plot

This documentary tells the story of Mel Cheren and his record label West End Records, which were part of the emerging disco scene in New York in the 1970s and 80s. The film also paints a picture of the impact of the AIDS crisis on this largely gay community; Cheren herself would die of this disease shortly after making the film.
