Reasonable film in which a dealer thinks he can make quick money with a one-time drug deal. A simple story and all seen before. Roughly shot with fast editing and chaotic camera work. A few violent moments and because of the short playing time it looks easy.

A busy film that blasts you through a not very strong story at a good speed, but who would expect an excellent story from a 75-minute action film? 
I have seen very few French films, this made it more interesting to me than the same script in New York, for example. This, together with the speed of the film, ensures a decent pass.

Handsome French dealer film (the title says it all) that indeed clearly beckons to Pusher. Partly because of the techniques and camera positions and the claustrophobia.
The dealer, however, is not a teenager or twenty-something this time, but a middle-aged man. He has decided to stop with this environment, but has one more job to do to be able to move to Australia with his daughter. This choice seems to have opened the very gates to hell.
Dealer shows little mercy, and that should also be the case with these kinds of films. You end up in a mindfuck of extreme violence, sadistic African gangs, cold claimants, your ex-wife and also a difficult housekeeper of your residential complex. Do you have to go into the sea with the gypsies and get out the weapons... And even then the weather is not as it seems. Yes, where does this end.
Dealer was a strong movie. With 75 minutes short but powerful and proof that the French can keep it up. Even though 2014 is already far in the past, before you know it.
