Identical twins born in 1970, Virginia and Grace Kennedy are known for their distinct and idiosyncratic way of communicating, developing a language not even understood by doctors and linguists. The scientists' interest in this unique form of communication is opposed by sociologists who want the two girls to learn to speak English.
