In this 2-hour documentary about Madonna's Re-Invention World Tour from director Jonas Akerlund, Madonna is followed from the first preparations during this tour. Madonna again comes across as an ambivalent personality, who can flirt ostentatiously with spirituality and at the same time curse like a boatman. Once again it becomes clear that Madonna is a perfectionist, who is still firmly in control of her career. In addition to images of the show, there are many behind-the-scenes glimpses, including at her singing teacher, the dance rehearsals, and in the studio with her producer Stuart Price.
