"A new Ladd thrills the Old West !"

Luke 'Whispering' Smith is a railroad detective with an iron will. When his comrade and colleague Murray Sinclair is fired from the Railways, Luke must hunt him down for robbing trains with outlaw Blake Barton. Things get complicated for Luke when he falls in love with Murray's wife Marie.
