Duvidha plot
A merchant's son returns home with his new bride. But soon he leaves her alone to do business far away. His pursuit of wealth takes him to distant places and therefore he will return home only after a very long time. Meanwhile at his home a ghost lives in a tree that takes the place of the traveling husband. The ghost goes to live with his wife and even has a child with her. The man hears about this on his return and enlists the help of a mysterious shepherd to try to drive the ghost from his house.
