In an isolated 'madhouse', fifty men live all year round, who spend their days locked in one floor of the building. The men rarely have contact with the outside world, even with the medical team. Each of them was interned for different reasons: they have psychiatric problems, they killed someone or they annoyed local officials. Once inside, the men share the same empty days. They walk along the same iron corridors and there seek warmth among their fellow sufferers.
