“All I'm asking for is total perfection.”
Awe-some! Not expected, but The Lego Movie is really an hour and a half of enjoyment. The humor works and the eye for detail is amazing. The film looks great and the makers deserve a big compliment for creating an imaginative and original world.
But not only visually, The Lego Movie is top, the characters are also well developed and the dialogues are very strong. Funny, witty, original, I had a smile on my face the whole time. Especially if Batman also makes his appearance. Then the party is really complete. With appropriate voices by Arnett, Pratt, Banks, Ferrell and Freeman, among others. Top entertainment.

The film starts very comically and the first 45 minutes I was purely enjoying it. Everything was awesome!
The story has enough to keep the body fascinated and is entertaining for both young and old. The second half of the movie gets a bit rough. Not because the story is weak, but I thought the lightness of the first half of the film was pushed to the background a bit too much.
