Sure, you can justify anything with "so bad it's good", but there's a limit, and deliberately ironic acting doesn't make this movie any better or even acceptable. Has anyone here mentioned the scene where Fin's daughter suddenly starts complaining that her father pays her so little attention? Broke my heart. No, this is really too much ignorance and too little entertainment to give more than half a star for the whole, but luckily that inventive slot with Fin and Nova actually scores an extra half. Disappointing that this film is in the flop-100 and Swamp Zombies!!! (2005) unfortunately not because of too few votes. Pulp lover, let that be your next movie! (Unless of course you prefer Sharktopus, Dinoshark or 3-headed shark attack – all real titles.)

Watched out of sheer curiosity. Well, what surprises me the most is that a whole series of these have been made. Sometimes the theory of "the worse, the better" goes, but I couldn't find even that here. Almost everything goes wrong. Even if you support the sharks, there is little fun to it.

sharks? If you can call it sharks of course with such appalling CGI. Not to mention how easy those beasts are to knock, beat or cut up. Let's forget the weight of a sloppy barrel then...

What an idea to literally blow sharks into the mainland via tornadoes. How do you get there...

SyFy and Asylum are responsible for this stupid, noisy horror film in which sharks in large numbers end up in a tornado and crash in Los Angeles. Ian Ziering, the blond curly-haired head from Beverly Hills 90210, plays the surfer who, in addition to his family, rescues children and the elderly. Seems to take itself way too seriously at first and the special effects are subpar. Has some nice moments, including the fate of a conspiracy theorist and the finale where Fin [Ziering] tackles a shark with a chainsaw. Got no less than 5 sequels and a deluge (!) of corny monster movies starting with Sharknado 2: The Second One.
