Don Quixote plot

In Spain, in the 16th century, an elderly man named Don Quixote went mad after reading countless books about knights. He threatens to spend all his possessions on buying books, and he thinks he is a knight himself. Together with his squire Sancho Panza, he sets out to reshape the world in the time of knights and ladies-in-waiting. He thinks inns are castles and windmills are giants. His niece and a local priest hatch a plan to get him back home.
