Katharina Kramer is a secondary school teacher. She has two beautiful children, a nice man, Ulrich, who is an architect, and an interesting job. Katharina should really be satisfied. However, when new student Ben Simon ends up in her class, her life takes a dramatic turn. Katharina and Ben fall in love, and in the end Katharina also becomes pregnant by him.
