Die Liebe der Maria Bonde plot

Circus artist Bonde has three daughters: Gunne, Maria and Annella. The eldest, Gunne, is engaged to Martin. But Gunne's failing health makes Martin lose interest in her. He says he cannot love someone who is weak. Martin falls in love with Gunne's younger sister, Maria. After a while Maria accepts Martin's love and they secretly marry, during a circus tour abroad. When Gunne discovers their secret, it has disastrous consequences.
