On his likely last mission, Thomas Beckett is sent to a poor, war-ravaged country in Eastern Europe to assassinate its leader. If the mission is successful, Beckett and his spotter must still get out alive. To do this, they must flee through ruined cities and desolate landscapes while being chased by hitmen.

After seeing Sniper, it was Sniper 2's turn.
After seeing part one, I feared the worst for this film. One wasn't too good, and making a sequel to such a poor film is always a bit dubious.
But it worked out. For example, despite the fairly limited budget, the SE are quite good. Berenger is also doing well again. Of course the film can be predicted from A to Z, but that does not take away all the fun. The sniper scenes are just fine and the other action is also at a reasonable level. Not great, but just entertaining. Just like part one, but just a little better.

I thought the first part was good and exciting, but this part was really no more than a poor imitation of it. The originality was also hard to find because in terms of story it had many similarities with the first part. Fortunately, the film is not very bad and that is mainly thanks to Tom Berenger who somewhat saves this film (also by the way the very nice Erika Marozsán). There is also quite a bit of action.
